Frank G. Myers, Jr. was born in Beaufort, South Carolina. He was educated in the Beaufort County public school system. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. During his tenure in the military, he served in the quarter master branch for nine years. While serving in the quarter master branch, he was deployed to Germany, Korea, Fort Hood, Texas, and Desert Shield/Desert Storm. After returning from the Gulf War in 1991, Mr. Myers served as a protocol officer for over 11 years. During his tenure as a protocol officer, he was deployed again to Germany, Ft. Knox, Kentucky, and was the first enlisted non-commission officer in the position at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. As the protocol officer at West Point, his primary responsibilities were preparing itineraries and escorting the President and First Lady of the United States during graduation ceremonies at West Point and at the tradition Army/Navy football games, congress persons and other dignitaries here and abroad.

After serving over 20 years of military service, he decided to retire in 2002. After his retirement, Mr. Myers moved to Columbia, South Carolina. He is currently employed with the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education as the Assistant Director for the State Approving Agency.

Mr. Myers earned his Associate Degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Rockland Community College, NY, a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College, Albany, NY and a Master Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from St. Leo University, FL.

Mr. Myers is married to Yolanda Myers and they have three children (one daughter and two sons).
